Ningbo Haixin Fastener Hardware Co., Ltd. is a company that specializes in producing high-tensile fasteners. Of all the fasteners, high-tensile nut is its leading product, which accounts for 70% to 80% of its total output. Established in 1983, the company covers an area of 40,000sqm, 20,000sqm of which are the plants. The company is equipped with more than 200 sets of special equipment and testing devices represent nearly 30 sets.


Ningbo Haixin used to be a state-owned enterprise and it transferred to a private-owned enterprise in 1993. At present, it includes two professional manufacturers. They are Ningbo Haixin Hardware Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Haixin Railroad Material Co., Ltd. The latter one was founded in 2002. According to Mr. Liu Yanjie, vice president of Ningbo Haixin, Haixin ranked Top 4 among fastener enterprises in Ningbo before the transfer. Over 20 years of development, Haixin still keeps its place, especially outstanding in the line of high-tensile nuts.


It is learned that Haixin was raised up by making nuts. At the same time, it is famous for nuts. After the transfer, it still produced hot forged nuts. After the new plant was built, the company began to make cold forged series. Currently, some of Haixin's products are supplied to thread rod manufacturers. For example, Haiyan Huiyou is Haixin's long term strategic partner. Huiyou's nuts are offered by Haixin. Mr. Liu said, "Haixin offers value-added products. Our annual output is about 34,000 tons, 90% of which are for export. Haixin has over ten years of experience in foreign trade, so we have accumulated abundant of experience and our customer group is growing day by day. We explore the overseas market in dozens of countries, covering Australia, North America, South America and Europe."


Having visited Haixin's plants, Mr. Liu introduced their feature product to us—2H high-tensile nut. This product is used mainly for connecting the oil pipeline. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high strength, heavy-duty and tension resistance, and reaches Grade 10 of DIN standard. According to Mr. Liu, Haixin now has over 20 sets of Taiwan imported advanced machines, which are used for producing 2H nuts. They can produce about 10,000 tons of products per year. Mr. Liu also noted that Haixin had spent more than 40 yuan in developing 2H nuts.
