Zhejiang Qifeng Hardware Make Co., Ltd., a hardware manufacturer of over ten years of experience, is located in Haiyan County of Zhejiang Province. The company produces bolts, nuts, wood screws, stampings and cold forged, hot forged cold extrusion, machining, and non-standard parts. Currently, 50% of their products are exported to the foreign markets, such as Europe, US, South-East Asia, Middle-East, etc.


According to Chen Yuezhong, General Manager of Qifeng, Qifeng has features of various specifications and a full product range. Product sizes range from M6 to M52 and the maximum length can reach 1500mm. "We have a variety of series, including cold forged, hot forged, thread cutting, tapping, etc." Mr. Chen said. He also noted that their products had a wide application range, including construction, automobiles, motorbikes, farm vehicles, transportation, household, etc.


What makes a manufacturer produce such a full range of products? The truth is the punches that Qifeng uses are of the best quality. They just have to change the mould when they produce non-standard parts. Since this February when Qifeng moved to a new factory, Qifeng has introduced many sets of multi-stage cold headers. By now, Qifeng has had 100 sets of equipment. It is learned that Qifeng had spent 15 million yuan on the new factory. The new factory project got started in August 2006. Now it covers an area of 40 Mu (more than 26,000m2), 8 times that of the old one.


When being asked the next plan, Mr. Chen frankly said that Qifeng would move towards diversity. Meanwhile, he hopes to attract foreign investors to cooperate with Qifeng, as the new factory has lots of available space, while the old one is rented to others.


"In 2011, our goal is 100 million!" Mr. Chen told reporter at the end of the interview.
